I recently had the privilege of hosting a shoe cutting party at The Bridge Assisted Living in Mt Vernon WA. I met ridiculously sweet elderly residents with big compassionate hearts. So many people have a deep desire to serve and make a difference in this world but have no idea how. It doesn’t matter if you are 5 or 95 you are not to young or to old to help Sole Hope. Together we can all make a difference, simply by tracing and cutting a pattern onto an old pair of jeans and used milk jugs. These shoe uppers are then sent to Africa, made into a shoe by a local Ugandan and placed on the foot of a child. To learn why this ministry is so necessary, why these children need shoes and what inspired Sole Hope, please watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajdVs3s2k3U&feature=related I’d love to raise $100 for Sole Hope this month, would you consider making a donation?
